ADHECAL® is not vinyl. Vinyl films are made for short‑term decorative applications, where exposure conditions are predictable and limited. Aircraft exteriors operate in a radically different environment, that vinyl was never engineered, tested or qualified to withstand.

Using non‑qualified materials on an aircraft exterior exposes operators to uncontrolled aging, premature degradation and potential safety concerns, as well as regulatory and liability risks.

Unlike vinyl, ADHECAL® 13880® is qualified by major aircraft OEMs to last as long as paint. Our technology was engineered closely with aircraft manufacturers to ensure outstanding durability to extreme conditions such as high‑speed airflow, pressure variation, temperature cycling and long‑term UV exposure. It maintains long‑term color stability, adhesion integrity and surface finish despite repeated thermal cycles and environmental exposure.
