ADHETEC and LA COMPAGNIE Boutique Airlines cooperated for the realization of stickers inside their Boeing 757 flying from Paris to New York. ADHETEC delivered a full package for la COMPAGNIE, who desired to decorate the window dust panels inside the cabin and the tailfin with the stickers designed by Kevin Lyons:
A technical feasibility study was done by Adhetec’s long experienced engineers in the projection of decoration inside and outside aircrafts. The study was later validated by a DO partner. The selection of one of our Polymer films for the Interior was another key point: meeting security constraints, use our very thin clear 10447 film ensured max visibility through the windows but also enhanced greatly La Compagnie’s customer experience.
Adhetec asked an independent lab to carry out the mandatory flammability tests on representative window dust panels and with those in hand, our DO Partner could issue a Mod. documentation (SB) and ADHETEC could proceed with the manufacture of the 80 wonderful designs created by Kevin Lyons.
Finally, the installation of the stickers took place in New York with 2 ADHETEC experts who accompanied the crew to be able to install them while the aircraft was there.
To complement the window dust panel stickers, La Compagnie had desired to decorate the tailfin in the same manner as in the Interior. Adhetec manufactured 2 decals (RH/LH) out of our patented product for exterior liveries (13880 ®). Our ADHECAL technology is made to last as long as paint – qualified Boeing. The stickers applied onto the window dust panel created the hook, while making the look out the window “very special”. All together the flight on board of LA COMPAGNIE was a unique and enhanced customer experience.
